Take charge of your life and achieve your
goals with PACESETTER
Charles Dickens in his book ‘A Tale of Two Cities’
begins with this phrase: “It
was the best of times and it was the worst of times”.
Everyday life throws challenges at
us. And with each challenge we come up with a new response
that equals that challenge.
There are moments in our lives that we feel like we
are at the top of the world and at
other times we feel victimized and down trodden. You
may often catch yourself saying:
“Life’s just like that!” Just exactly
what does ‘that” refers to? It could be
the state of
being that you are in or the situation or challenge
that you are facing. It could also
represent the people around you who might in subtle
ways influence the course of your
life and the decisions that you make each day.
The organizations of the 21st century are looking for
self-driven and self-directed
individuals to fuel the organization’s objectives
and achieve their visions. The success
that the organization achieves is the success of the
individual. What you need to do is to
achieve a sense of personal success.
Personal success is your ability to come to terms
with your failures and rectify
them and to manage your successes and realizing your
dream. Many a time people
achieve success, but they do not feel happiness in what
they have achieved as they are not
attuned to their goals and personal vision. Most of
the time we spend our waking hours
trying to plan for the future and we forget the here
and now. Further we are sometimes
unsure what is it that we want in our life.
Personal success is being able to achieve your personal
and career goals that
you’ve set in your life. The easy part is setting
the goals. Achieving it takes on an
entirely different paradigm.
Personal success will not occur unless you have a
set of effective action-oriented
mental tools that guides you.
In the many seminars that I conduct, I share with
my participants the PACESETTER.
This is an easy word to remember and every letter in
the PACESETTER connotes
an attention directing tool that allows you to change
your mindset and the way you
think and act. Using the PACESETTER in both your personal
and professional life
will guide you to immeasurable personal success in every
venture that you undertake. In
short the PACESETTER connotes the following:
P - Perception and Passion
A – Attitude
C – Commitment
E – Energy
S – Self Suggestion
E – Enriching Environment
T – Targetting
T – Trust
E – Efficacy
R – Responsibility
