Personal Development Programme for Junior Doctors
Speed Reading
- Read faster, Comprehend better, Recall more
-
Today we are challenged with increasing volume of
reading materials.
This includes journals, records, papers and emails.
If reading speed is improved, part of every hour spent
in reading can be utilized in other areas such as planning,
decision making and spending more time with our families.
17 of our junior doctors attended the course with
facilitator Dr Daniel Theyagu on 27
November, 4 December and 11 December 2004. Dr Daniel
Theyagu’s ability to build rapport and his use
of experiential methods of facilitating his classes
has earned him positive feedback.
“Lecturer has excellent attitude & is friendly.”
“Promotes skills that will enhance job training.”

The overall feedback rating was 4.57
(5 being excellent and 1 being poor).
